• Surrendered only 21 hits in 41 innings pitched, with only four hits going for extra-bases
• His impressive mark of 4.6 hits per nine innings ranked second in program history
• Also moved into third place on Purdue's Big Ten season list by allowing only 5.2 hits per nine innings
