Mitch Meador is in his second season as assistant director of football strength & conditioning. He was hired Jan. 22, 2018.
Meador joined the Purdue staff after spending the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons at Tennessee, where he served as a full-time assistant strength and conditioning coach for the football program. The Volunteers won 22 games and played in the 2016 Outback Bowl and the 2016 Music City Bowl.
A four-year letterwinner as a defensive lineman at Cincinnati from 2009 to 2013, Meador earned academic all-conference recognition four times and was named the best conditioned defensive lineman in 2011. He graduated from Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership in 2013.
Meador is an NSCA certified strength & conditioning coach.
