• Recorded his first career 400-yard passing game by going 34-of-52 for 423 yards at Nevada on Aug. 30; it marked the 24th, 400-yard passing game in school history; 4 TD passes tied for the most in a season opener in Purdue history
• Completed 34 of 52 passing attempts for 509 yards and five touchdowns vs. Vanderbilt on Sept. 7 to become the first Purdue quarterback with five or more touchdown passes and 500 yards in a game since Kyle Orton against Indiana (522 yards, 6 TDs) on Nov. 20, 2004; Named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Rose Bowl Big Ten Player of the Week while landing a spot on the Manning Award's Stars of the Week for his performance.
