Nuss originally served as supervisor of football operations following a one-year stint as a graduate assistant. His duties include scheduling, team travel, student-athlete housing and training table, and serving as liaison with the athletic ticket office and business office. He also oversees the football office clerical staff.
Nuss came to Purdue from the University of Buffalo, where he was a football operations volunteer from July of 2008 through February of 2009. In addition to day-to-day office responsibilities, Nuss assisted with game-day operations and team travel and aided the Bulls' defensive coaches during games.
Previously, Nuss worked for American National Bank and Wells Fargo Financial, both in Omaha, Neb.
A native of Hastings, Neb., Nuss (born Sept. 29, 1984) earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Midland Lutheran College in 2007. He played football for four years, starting at quarterback as a junior and senior and passing for 2,037 yards with 13 touchdowns in 18 games. He was voted team captain his senior season.
