Brian Mason is in his second year as defensive graduate assistant.
He joined the Purdue staff after spending the 2012 season with head coach Darrell Hazell as a graduate assistant at Kent State.
Prior to working with the Golden Flashes, Mason spent three seasons at Bluffton University as the defensive line coach.
He graduated from Denison University in 2009 with a degree in economics and history. While attending Denison he was a two-year letter winner as a running back. He also served as the running backs coach for the 2007 and 2008 seasons at Denison.
