• Started the home opener vs. Milwaukee, Purdue’s earliest home opener ever
• Became the fourth freshman since 2005 to start the home opener on the mound, but the first to make his first start on the same day
• Impressed at Alexander all season, compiling a 2.22 ERA and .207 batting average against in 24 1/3 innings over nine appearances
• Recognized as the team’s Clyde Lyle Award recipient as the top non-scholarship performer
• Earned the win vs. Bowling Green with six innings of one-run relief, striking out a season-high five
• In his next outing, earned the victory vs. Valparaiso with four innings of scoreless relief
• Put together scoreless relief outings in weekend series vs. Texas (1 2/3 IP) and Ohio State (2 IP)
• Also made relief appearances in Big Ten play against Nebraska, Iowa, Rutgers, and Illinois
• Worked a 1-2-3 fourth inning and retired all four batters he faced to help Purdue defeat Butler live on FS1
