2017 Season
Played in 19 games, making nine starts in left field... started five consecutive games in March, including all three games of the series victory at Southeast Missouri... also started games against Ohio State, Louisville and Rutgers... hit safely, scored a run and drove in a run in all three games of the SEMO series, the only Boilermaker to accomplish all three of those feats in one series in 2017... homered in each of the final two games at SEMO... had RBI double for his first collegiate hit in the opener at SEMO... walked twice and scored a run in the series opener at CSUN... singled in the opener of the Ohio State series. LeGare was a letterwinner for coach Todd Genek at St. Charles North High School in suburban Chicago... batted over .350 each of his upperclassman seasons as a two-time all-conference and all-area honoree... also a multiple year academic all-conference student-athlete... batted .384 with a .646 quality at-bat percentage as a junior... hit .358 with a .612 quality AB clip a year later... helped St. Charles North take third at state (class 4A) as a senior along with winning back-to-back conference titles as an upperclassman... also part of regional champs as a sophomore and junior...
