Pitched in 11 games, starting the midweek game at Indiana State... pitched three innings of effective relief against Ohio State and Butler... also appeared in Big Ten games against Indiana, Rutgers, Michigan, Minnesota and Nebraska at the Big Ten Tournament... needed only eight pitches to work a hitless inning vs. Michigan... pitched two scoreless innings at Rutgers... worked 2 1/3 innings of relief in his collegiate debut, the finale of the season-opening series at Texas State... struck out a season-high five vs. Big Ten champion Nebraska.
