2013 Season
Eichmann pitched in eight games and started the midweek game at Indiana State... worked 7 2/3 innings of one-run relief against Butler for his finest outing of the season... his outing against Butler was the longest relief appearance by a Purdue pitcher since at least the beginning of the 2008 season... it also ranked as the fourth longest outing of the 2013 season by a Purdue pitcher; only senior starter Robert Ramer recorded more outs in a game... pitched in Big Ten games against Ohio State, Northwestern and Nebraska, working a scoreless inning of relief versus OSU... was the first man out of the bullpen in the season-opening win against Connecticut... made his first collegiate start at Indiana State but did not enjoy the same success he had against Butler.

2012 Season
Eichmann pitched in three games, all in relief... did not surrender an earned run over four innings... worked an inning of scoreless relief in his college debut, a win against Western Carolina... struck out two of the six batters he faced in his inning of relief at Wichita State... also fanned a pair in two innings of one-hit relief in the win against IPFW at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne.

Eichmann was a four-year letter-winner at Libertyville High School in suburban Chicago... finished his high school career with a 17-3 record and 2.15 ERA, earning all-conference and all-area honors as a senior and sophomore... went 6-3 with a 2.05 ERA as a senior team captain... compiled an 8-0 record and 2.31 ERA as a sophomore... also impressed as a junior with a 3-0 record and 1.89 ERA... two-time all-academic honoree as an upperclassman... also played basketball, serving as a team captain on the freshman & sophomore teams.
