2015 / AS A FRESHMAN

· Went deep twice in the April 1 home win against IPFW, becoming the first Purdue freshman to post a multi-home game since 2010 and the first of the BBCOR bat era (2011-present)
· Also became only the second Purdue player to post a multi-homer game at Alexander Field
· Also went deep in the series opener at Michigan
· Started the final 10 games of the season as well as all three games of the Michigan series
· Missed only three games after suffering a shoulder injury while trying to make a diving catch on the warning track in the April 7 win at Indiana State
· Scored the game-winning run with a head-first slide into home plate in the 12-inning walk-off win vs. Sam Houston State in Corpus Christi
· Started the nightcap of the SHSU doubleheader and delivered a key two-run single for his first collegiate hit
· Reached base safely twice (HBP, single) during the six-run eighth-inning rally vs. Penn State
· Doubled and scored three times in the midweek rematch with IPFW
· Had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored in the win vs. Illinois State
· Recorded all three of his outfield assists in Big Ten play
· Reached base 45 percent of the time when leading off an inning

HIGH SCHOOL
· Four-year varsity letter-winner for coach Jeff Sandor at Lake Central High School in Northwest Indiana
· Was the only sophomore on LCHS's 2012 IHSAA 4A state championship team that compiled a 32-1 record and was nationally-ranked by ESPN HS (7th) and USA Today (11th)
· Made 23 starts that season, including all seven postseason games, while batting .348 with 11 extra-base hits, 13 RBI and 14 runs scored
· Played in a school record 21 postseason games during his varsity career and finished his time at LCHS with a .377 average, 44 extra-base hits, 93 RBI and 81 runs
· Two-time unanimous All-Duneland Athletic Conference honoree as an upperclassman
· Also a two-time Northwest Indiana Times and Gary Post-Tribune all-area performer
· Honorable mention all-state as a junior after batting .396 with 14 extra-base hits and 41 RBI
· Helped LCHS win sectional and regional titles as a senior after batting .362 with 17 extra-base hits, 36 RBI, 20 walks and 19 stolen bases
· Batted .593 as the only freshman on 25-2 junior varsity team his freshman year, finishing the season with the varsity team and starting all three postseason games
· Played three years of varsity football, making starts at quarterback all three years
· Also played wide receiver, corner back and kick returner at times
· Northwest Indiana Times all-area honoree for sectional championship team as a senior despite missing five games due to injury
· Four-year scholar athlete award recipient and honor roll student
