2015 Season
Haan pitched in 13 games, all as a weekend starter... also started the nightcap of the season finale doubleheader against Penn State that was rained out in the fifth inning... induced a team-high 10 ground ball double plays in 59 1/3 innings pitched... surrendered only one earned run over a career-high seven innings in his win against Northern Illinois... also struck out a season-high six vs. NIU... also helped lead Purdue to wins against Sam Houston State and Nebraska with five innings of two-run ball... took a tough-luck no-decision after a quality outing against nationally ranked Iowa in which he gave up just one earned run over six-plus innings... also kept Purdue in the game against NCAA Tournament qualifiers Illinois (4 IP, 3 R) and Michigan (5 2/3 IP, 4 R)... the Boilermakers won his final two starts of the season at Michigan State and Nebraska. Haan pitched in 14 games, making five starts... started Big Ten series finales against Penn State, Michigan State and Michigan along with the neutral-site game against Butler and the midweek game at Indiana State... induced six ground ball double plays in 29 innings pitched, the best ratio on the team... worked five shutout innings versus PSU to help lead Purdue to its only shutout win of the season... also gave the Boilers a chance to win with 4 1/3 innings of two-run ball in the finale of the Michigan State series... worked four innings of scoreless relief in the 16-inning marathon with Southern Illinois... pitched 3 2/3 innings of one-run relief in the finale of the Illinois series... worked two scoreless frames in the home-opening win against IPFW... made two relief appearances in the Rice and San Diego State series. Junior College
Haan played his first two college seasons at Parkland College in Champaign, Ill.... helped lead Parkland to 40 wins in 2012... had two wins and two saves as a sophomore, highlighted by a three-hit shutout in a win against Kellogg CC... surrendered 24 hits in 28 1/3 innings pitched as a freshman.

High School
Haan was a four-year letter-winner for coach Tim Bordenet at Central Catholic High School in Lafayette... helped Central Catholic win three straight IHSAA Class A state championships from 2009-11, the team compiling a combined 81-20 record in those seasons... team MVP, all-state honoree and North South All-Star as a senior... two-time all-area honoree as an upperclassman... also a standout on the basketball court, winning Lafayette Journal and Courier Small School Area Player of the Year honors each of his upperclassman seasons... averaged 23 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior after scoring 16 points per game as a junior... also played football as an underclassman.
