2013 Season
Academic All-Big Ten... Talbott played in 47 games and started 41 times... made 30 starts in left field, 10 in center and one at designated hitter... batted at least one in eight of the nine spots in the lineup -- all but ninth, which was his customary spot in 2011 and 2012... started all three games of the Big Ten series against Ohio State, Penn State, Northwestern and Nebraska... led the team in stolen bases, finishing his career 55-of-63 in stolen base attempts (fifth most in program history)... recorded the first Purdue stolen base at Alexander Field (second inning of March 23 game vs. Ohio State)... enjoyed a productive spring break trip, batting .345 (10-for-29) with five extra-base hits and a team-high 10 runs scored... recorded outfield assists against Northwestern and Southern Illinois... posted three-hit games in wins against Connecticut and Cincinnati... hit safely and scored a run in six straight games in March, going 10-for-25 while crossing home plate 10 times during that stretch... homered in the opener of the Illinois-Chicago series... walked three times and stole two bases in the middle game of the Ohio State series... delivered the second of back-to-back two-run doubles during Purdue's seven-run fourth inning in the season-opening win against UConn... doubled in his final collegiate at-bat to ignite a four-run ninth inning rally against Iowa... also finished his career ranked eighth in triples and seventh in hit by pitch among the Purdue all-time leaders.

2012 Season
Big Ten Player of the Week (March 12)... Michigan (April 8-10): recorded an RBI single and scored a run in each of the final two games of the series, beginning his 10-game hit streak... at Penn State (April 15-17): hit safely and scored a run in all three games, finishing the weekend 4-for-12 with a triple and five runs scored... at Illinois-Chicago (April 20): reached base safely and scored a run in each of his four plate appearances, collecting three hits... Indiana (April 30-May 1): capped a 4-for-13 series with a solo home run in the finale; reached base safely three times in the game two win... Illinois (May 13-15): doubled and homered as part of his game one heroics, finishing the weekend 3-for-11 with two RBIs and two runs scored... Illinois-Chicago (May 17): reached safely and scored three times in the midweek finale... at Big Ten Tournament (May 25-27): led the way offensively in the win against Penn State, driving in three runs thanks to a pair of doubles; delivered the go-ahead two-run double in the fifth inning...
