2014 Season

Hudnall played in 46 games and started 42 times... made a team-high 32 starts in right field but also started seven games at third base in March... batted in six different spots in the lineup, including leadoff a team-high 15 times... led the team with six outfield assists and also shared the team lead with nine doubles... reached base safely in the final 27 games of the season in which he started... hit safely in all three games of the Big Ten series Northwestern, Illinois and Michigan State... accounted for the first Purdue hit in the history of Alexander Field (second inning single March 22 vs. Ohio State)... delivered a go-ahead three-run double to cap Purdue's four-run two-out ninth inning rally at Michigan... homered in the season-opening win against Connecticut, becoming the first Boiler to go deep in his team debut since 2010... also went deep for a two-run shot in the ninth inning at Evansville to extend Purdue's one-run lead... led the team with a .333 batting average in Big Ten play while striking out only six times in 78 at-bats... batted .357 (15-for-42) in Big Ten road games... recorded 17 of his 20 RBI and batted .379 in Purdue victories... led the way at Michigan State with a 7-for-16 series, recording two doubles and putting the ball in play in every at-bat... batted .355 with just two strikeouts in 62 at-bats in April... had four hits in the neutral-site win against Samford, igniting eighth- and ninth-inning rallies with leadoff hits... went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and three RBI in the series-opening win against Northwestern, Purdue's first victory at Alexander Field... recorded four straight multi-hit games in late April, enjoying a 9-for-21 week... reached base safely four times while posting a three-hit night in the series opener with Iowa.

Junior College
Hudnall played his first two college seasons at Glen Oaks College in Centreville, Mich.... batted .383 as a freshman to garner all-region and all-conference honors... batted .351 as a sophomore to earn second team all-conference honors... Glen Oaks is coached by Keith Schreiber, the brother of Purdue's Doug Schreiber... played for the Lima Locos in the summer of 2011, batting .296 in the wood bat league to help Lima win the Great Lakes League title.

High School
He was a three-year letter-winner for coach Chip O'Neil at Clay High School in South Bend, Ind.... two-time first team all-conference honoree as an upperclassman, batting .444 as a junior and .390 as a junior... honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore after batting .360.
