Michigan (April 8-10): returned to early season form while handcuffing Michigan over six innings of four-hit ball, striking out eight... at Penn State (April 15-17): did not give up a hit until the fifth inning, working six innings of two-run ball and earning the win thanks to some help from the bullpen... at Northwestern (April 23-24): his poorest start in Big Ten play (3 IP, 7 H, 7 R) did not cost him a loss after Purdue rallied to win the back-and-forth affair... Indiana (April 30-May 1): worked 6 1/3 innings of three-run ball but did not factor in the decision as Purdue went on to win in extra innings... at Michigan State (May 6-8): kept the Spartans off the scoreboard until the fifth inning, but was tagged with the loss after giving up six runs over five innings... Illinois (May 13-15): pitched six innings of one-run ball to earn the win, recording his 200th career strikeout while fanning five total... Iowa (May 19-21): kept Purdue in the game with 6 1/3 innings of three-run ball, striking out nine; did not factor in the decision after the Boilers rallied for five in the eighth inning to win the game... at Big Ten Tournament (May 25-27): gave up a two-run single in the first inning but responded with seven consecutive scoreless frames, striking out eight and helping Purdue advance to the second round... Morgan pitched in 14 games and started 10 times, making a start in each of the first nine weekends of the season as well as the Big Ten Tournament opener against Iowa ... ranked second on the team in starts, innings and strikeouts ... recorded a 3-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio and averaged over nine strikeouts per nine innings ... surrendered only one home run in 36 innings pitched in Big Ten play ... went 2-0 with a .255 batting average against in March ... struck out a career-high 14 over 7 2/3 innings in his win at Ohio, recording the most Ks by a Purdue pitcher since 2002 ... Big East/Big Ten Challenge (Feb. 26-March 1): worked seven shutouts innings against Cincinnati, striking out nine and giving up only four singles his best outing of the season; settled for a no decision after the Bearcats rallied in the ninth inning ... at Southern Illinois (March 5-7): started the middle game of the series, giving up five runs over 5 1/3 innings while striking out five ... at Evansville Tournament (March 12-14): started the game against Morehead State, taking a no decision after failing to strikeout a batter for the only time in 2010 ... at Ohio (March 19-20): dominated the Bobcats in the series finale to earn his first win of the season, giving up only two runs on six hits while fanning 14 over 7 2/3 innings ... Penn State (April 16-18): won the middle game of the series by giving up three earned runs over six innings and striking out six ... Struck out six and walked one ... Dunn Hospitality Classic (March 13-15): Was charged with a hard-luck loss after surrendering an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 1-0 loss to IPFW. Struck out six, walked one and allowed just six hits in 8 2/3 innings ... vs. SIU Edwardsville (March 21): Earned first win of the season after allowing just two runs on six hits over six innings. Struck out five and walked two ... Iowa (April 3-4): Struck out a season-high 10 batters against no walks over 7 1/3 innings to earn second win of the season. Allowed five earned runs on eight hits ... at Penn State (April 10-12): Recorded third win with a complete game effort. Allowed two earned runs on six hits with five strikeouts and five walks over all nine innings ... Ohio State (April 17-18): Charged with third loss of the year after surrendering nine runs, six earned, on eight hits 3 1/3 innings. Finished with five strikeouts and one walk ... Butler (April 22): Tossed one shutout inning of relief in only appearance out of the bullpen all season ... at Minnesota (April 24-26): Suffered fourth loss of the year after giving up five runs on 11 hits in seven innings pitched.
