2017 Season
Poisall played in 32 games, making 19 starts... one of just two Boilermakers to start games at four different positions -- third base (10), designated hitter (5), left field (3) and second base (1)... enjoyed a memorable and emotional first two weeks of the season, starting nine straight games during that stretch... featured on MLB Network's Hot Stove show Feb. 24 from the team hotel in Little Rock to discuss how well he played at Texas State (4-for-12, 2B, HR, 2 walks, 4 runs) after learning of the passing of his father Feb. 16... injuries limited him some beginning with the spring break trip, making just 10 starts after St. Patrick's Day... delivered the walk-off hit, a two-out infield single, in the home-opening victory vs. Kent State. Poisall played the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Fresno City College... 2016 Central Valley Conference Player of the Year after batting .423 and winning the league's triple crown in conference play... overall batted .322 with 10 doubles, five homers and 33 RBI as a sophomore, earning first team all-NorCal and second team all-state honors... batted .281 with 10 extra-base hits, 20 runs and 20 RBI as a second team all-conference utility player as a freshman... helped Fresno City win CVC titles both years and qualify for the elite eight round of the state playoffs in 2015... started his college career at Fresno State University, redshirting during the 2014 season.
