2013 Season
Hansen played in 45 games and made 40 starts at shortstop... played in each of the first 32 games of the before finally sitting out the finale of the Illinois series; was the last player who had seen action in every game at that point... did not start the first two games of the season at shortstop but finished both games and then took over as the starter... started 19 of the 24 Big Ten games, including all three in series against Ohio State, Penn State, Northwestern and Iowa... led the team with 21 walks... had a nine-game hit streak and a 13-game reached safely streak... drove in a run in four straight games in early April... batted .313 with runners in scoring position and plated a runner from third base with less than two outs on nine of his 12 opportunities... batted .341 with 11 walks in Purdue wins... reached base safely in seven of his 13 plate appearances at the Big East/Big Ten Challenge... did not commit his first error until the 12th game of the season... led the way with a .409 average (9-for-22) and six walks on the spring break trip... knocked in the go-ahead run in the neutral-site win against Samford with a sac fly in the eighth inning... went 3-for-4 with two walks and three runs scored in the game two win at Illinois-Chicago... had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored in the game two win at Michigan State... contributed to 21 of the 47 double plays turned.
2012 Season
After working his way back from an injury, Hansen played in two games in May... walked in his only plate appearance of the year, drawing the free pass in the win against IPFW at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne... played second base against IPFW and third base versus Illinois-Chicago the following day.
2011 Season
Hansen played in 22 games and started three times... started at shortstop in the win against Pittsburgh and the rubber game victory of the Tennessee Tech series... started at third base in the midweek win at Butler... saw action off the bench at second base as well... went 2-for-7 as a pinch hitter... with a runner on third and less than two outs, plated that runner on all three of his opportunities... helped Purdue turn four double plays... did not commit an error after early April, handling his final 12 defensive chances cleanly... saw action in Big Ten series against Minnesota, Northwestern and Indiana as well as the Big Ten Tournament game against Michigan State... singled twice in the win against Pittsburgh... doubled and reached base safely twice in game three of the Morehead State series... recorded a pinch hit double in the finale of the Lipscomb series... was pressed into action early in the finale of Tennessee-Martin series, recording a base hit, walk and sac bunt... tallied a sacrifice fly and was hit by a pitch in the rubber game win at Tennessee Tech... saw action at third base in the finale of the Minnesota series at Target Field... singled home a run, walked and scored in the midweek win at Butler... was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to drive in a run in the home win against Ball State... delivered an RBI single in the home win against Illinois-Chicago.
2010 Season
Hansen played in six games and started four times at shortstop early in the year before an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season ... started games Rutgers, Le Moyne, Morehead State and the finale of the Southern Illinois series ... did not commit an error in 11 defensive chances, helping Purdue turn four double plays ... went 2-for-2 with a run scored against West Virginia ... singled, drew a walk and was hit by a pitch in the finale of the SIU series.
