Announcements and recognitions at Purdue Athletics events are permitted only for use by Purdue University, the Purdue Athletics Department and Purdue Sports Properties.
Groups attending Purdue athletics events will not be recognized unless they are brought to the game as part of an official event put on by the Purdue Athletics Department (for example, Band Day, Boy/Girl Scout Day, Military Appreciation Day).
Individual announcements or recognition (birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, etc.) are not permitted at any Purdue Athletics event without written consent by the Director of Athletics. This policy includes public-address announcements, video board and participation by any group associated with Purdue Athletics (band, cheerleaders, team, etc.)
Appearances by the cheer squad and Purdue Pete are available by request and are based on availability. To request Purdue Pete or the cheer squad to attend an event, please contact Kim Harris via email at least two weeks prior to the event date.
