Individually in team history, moved up to fifth place in the 200 breast and seventh in the 100
Earned second swims in both breaststroke events at USA Swimming’s Phillips 66 National Championships in July

• U.S. Olympic Team Trials Qualifier (Wave I, Finalist in 200m Breast)
 Competed primarily in the breaststroke events as well as the 200 individual medley
 In team history, moved into seventh place in the 200 breast (1:56.88) and 10th in the 100 breast (53.82) with his career bests at the Big Ten Championships
Impressed at Wave I of the Olympic Trials, finishing third in both the prelims and finals of the 200m breast, winning his prelim heat
Won the 200 breast and finished third in the 100 breast at the Indiana Senior State Championships in July
 Scored in the C final of both events at the Big Tens, accounting for 10 team points
• Posted his season-best time (1:49.55) in the 200 IM at Big Tens
