• In team history, moved into seventh place in the 200 breast (1:56.88) and 10th in the 100 breast (53.82) with his career bests at the Big Ten Championships
• Impressed at Wave I of the Olympic Trials, finishing third in both the prelims and finals of the 200m breast, winning his prelim heat
• Won the 200 breast and finished third in the 100 breast at the Indiana Senior State Championships in July
• Scored in the C final of both events at the Big Tens, accounting for 10 team points
