Led by Brady Samuels' NCAA provisional qualifying time (B Cut) of 43.22 in the 100 freestyle on the leadoff leg, the Purdue men won the 400 free relay with a time of 2:54.90. That mark ranks ninth in team history and 10th nationally this season. Samuels teamed up with Jude Wenker, Idris Muhammad and Connor McCarthy for the victory. Samuels, Wenker and Muhammad contributed to both relay winners.

Dylan Burau won the 100 backstroke with a lifetime best of 47.90, which moved the sophomore into 12th place in program history.

Ethan Shaw demonstrated his versatility and stamina by sweeping the 400 IM and 500 free, out touching classmate Aaron Frollo by less than one second in both events. Shaw won by 0.31 hundredths in the 400 IM and just a half-second separated first and third place in the 500 free.

On the women's side, Caitlin Hurley and Kate Beavon also teamed up for a pair of 1-2 finishes in the 200 and 500 free. On both occasions, they raced in and won separate heats. Hurley enjoyed season bests in both events and Beavon had a season best while winning the 500.

Back from the Pan American Games in Chile where she finished fifth on the tower for Puerto Rico, Maycey Vieta posted a list score of 323.70 while competing in an exhibition 10-meter event Friday. It was the Big Ten champion's top five-dive total at an NCAA meet since winning silver at the 2022 Big Ten Championships.
