• Moved into 10th place in team history in the 100 back
• Enjoyed a breakout showing as an 18-year-old at USA Swimming’s Speedo Junior Nationals in August
• Helped his Dynamo Swim Club win gold and set national age group records in the 4x50 freestyle (1:32.26) and 4x50 medley (1:41.93) relays; Dynamo also won gold in the 4x100 free relay
• Posted the top backstroke split (25.58) in the field on the medley relay and the top 50 split (22.26) on the 4x50 freestyle
• Individually in Irvine, was an A finalist in the 50-meter free and 100-meter back
