ELKHART, Ind. – Ethan Shaw moved into seventh place in team history in the 200 butterfly while racing in his third A final of the week, highlighting the final day of action at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships for the Purdue swimmers.

Shaw posted a time of 1:45.85 to take seventh in the 200 fly, elevating the junior into seventh place in team history. It was Purdue's second-fastest time this season in the event. Over the last three weeks, Shaw has posted career bests in four events – the 200 and 500 freestyle, 200 fly, and 400 IM. He moved up the program's all-time leaderboards in all four. He was also an A finalist this week in the 200 and 500 free, winning bronze in the 500 Thursday.

Kelsey Cooper and Andrew Swenson were both A finalists in the 200 backstroke Saturday. Freshmen Andy Kelly and Dylan Burau also earned second swims as B finalists in the 200 back.

Raymond Whittaker earned a second swim in the B final of the 200 breaststroke via his career-best time of 1:58.84 in the prelims. Cecilie Wiuff was also a B finalist in the 200 fly.

The Purdue women closed out the meet with a top-15 showing in the 400 free relay. Ashley Lund, Hannah Hill, Reagan Mattice and Kali Sayovitz teamed up for a time of 3:23.41, good for third best at Purdue this season.
