• Competed primarily in the backstroke and butterfly events
• Achieved personal-best times in the 50 (23.43) and 100 back (50.72) as well as the 50 free (21.70), 50 fly (22.54) and 100 breast (1:02.63)
• At the Purdue Invitational, was the runner-up in the C final of the 100 fly and also qualified for the C final of the 200 fly
• Also won the D final of the 100 back at the Purdue Invite
• Raced in seven events -- four individual, three relays -- at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships
• Won his heat of the 100 fly while finishing sixth overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates
2021-22 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Competed primarily in the butterfly events and the 100 backstroke
• Posted season-best times in the 100 back (52.84) and 100 fly (49.11) at the First Chance meet
• Qualified for the C final of the 100 fly and the D final of the 200 fly at the Purdue Invitational, posting his season best in the 200 fly (1:52.18)
• Also helped his 400 medley relay team win its heat at the Purdue Invite
• Raced in the 100-meter fly and the 4x50 free relay for his club team at USA Swimming’s Speedo Junior Nationals in August
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed for coach Miguel Quijada at Hamilton High School on the west side of Los Angeles
• Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American as an upperclassman
• CIF City Section champion in the 100 back as a sophomore
• Led the Hamilton relay team to the school’s first berth at finals at the LA City Championships
• When he qualified for the CIF state championships, it also marked the first tie Hamilton had representation at the state meet
• Three-year team captain and a varsity scholar athlete as an upperclassman but meet schedules for California high schools were canceled each of his upperclassman years due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Also competed for the Rose Bowl Aquatics club
• Summer and Winter Junior Nationals qualifier
• Won four medals – gold in 100 fly and 200 back, silver in 100 back, 200 fly – at the 2019 JAG Championships
