WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Led by half a dozen Boilermakers with a pair of event victories each, the Purdue swimming & diving teams won 27 of the 32 events to win their home-opening dual vs. UIndy on Friday at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.

Ten members of the women's team won an individual event. Seven Boilermakers on the men's team did likewise.
Maggie Love led the way while being part of four total event victories. She swept the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley for the second Friday in a row and also contributed to both relay winners.
Jordan Rzepka swept the springboard diving events for the second weekend in a row to improve to 4-for-4 in event wins on the young season. Classmate Sophie McAfee is now 3-for-4 in event wins after she was also victorious on both springboards.
Brady Samuels, Michael Juengel and Coleman Modglin were also two-time individual event winners for the Boilermakers. Samuels also swam the leadoff leg on the victorious 400 free relay. Love and Samuels were among the seven Boilermakers that won an individual event and were part of a relay winner.
Purdue competes again Saturday when it hosts the annual Indiana Intercollegiates, featuring nine universities from around the state, for the largest single-day meet of the season at the Burke Aquatic Center. Action begins at noon ET.
