Time Slots Set for Coaches' TV/Radio Shows Fans will have many opportunities to hear from Tiller, Keady, Vrazel and Peck.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue fans will again have plenty of opportunities to hear from the coaches during the 1998-99 seasons.

Head Football Coach Joe Tiller will have a 30-minute weekly television show, originated by WLFI-TV each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. EST and distributed by MCS Marketing via satellite to a network of 16 stations including WTTV in Indianapolis (also at 10:30 a.m.) and WANE in Ft. Wayne (11:30 p.m.). The first of 12 consecutive Sunday shows will air September 6 with Joe McConnell serving as host.

Tiller will also be available on radio to answer questions from the fans during a live 60-minute "Talk to Tiller" show on the Purdue Sports Radio Network, through Learfield Communications, every Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. EST in September and October and then shifting to 7-8 p.m. starting October 25. The show, which is hosted by Peter Quinn, airs in Lafayette on WAZY-FM, in Indianapolis on WNDE-AM, in Ft. Wayne on WGL-AM and on 32 other stations.

Head Men's Basketball Coach Gene Keady will again have his own TV show beginning November 29 in the same time slots as the 'Tiller Show' and running through the end of the regular season with Jim Barbar as host.

Keady's radio show "Gene Keady Live" likewise, will follow the Tiller show after its 12th week. However, since several Purdue men's hoops games will be on Sundays, the call-in show will shift to Monday evenings 7-8 p.m. three times. Larry Clisby will be the host.

Head Women's Basketball Coach Carolyn Peck will have her own 30 minute, live, radio show Mondays at 10 a.m. EST on WAZY-AM in the Greater Lafayette Area, beginning in mid-November. Rick Mummey will be the host

Volleyball Coach Joey Vrazel won't have a call-in show this year, but her team's radio exposure will increase as WAZY-AM picks up 23 matches for live play-by-play. WAZY-AM also will carry the entire women's basketball schedule, up from half the games last year. WAZY-FM carries all football and men's basketball games.

In addition, Tiller, Keady, Vrazel and Peck will be interviewed live on the radio following every respective Boilermaker game or match.
