Dr. Kelsey Dawson
Dr. Kelsey Dawson is a sport psychologist for Purdue Athletics Counseling & Sport Psychology Services. In that role, she works with all student-athletes for both performance and mental health care.

Dr. Dawson earned a bachelor's degree in psychology (magna cum laude with honors and research distinction) from Ohio State University in 2013, where she was a member of the swimming team. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wright State University School of Professional Psychology. From 2018 to 2019, Dr. Dawson completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Oklahoma within the athletics department. Her areas of clinical interest include eating disorders, trauma, sport psychology and psychological testing.

A native of Lakewood, Ohio, Kelsey and her husband, James, have two daughters, Adeline and Evy, as well as two dogs, Mikey and Penelope. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, baking and spending time with family.
