Four-year letterwinner and West Virginia High School State Champion for Point Pleasant High School ... led his team to back-to-back AA/A state titles in 2010 and 2011, and runner-up finishes in 2008 and 2009 ... won the state title at 112 pounds in 2008, going 49-2, and followed with the 119-pound title in 2009 with a record of 38-1 and captured the NHSCA national title ... posted a flawless 41-0 mark as a junior in 2010, winning the 130-pound state title ... went 23-1 as a senior, winning a second straight state crown at 130 pounds with a major decision, technical fall and two falls in the state tournament ... is the only four-time state champion in Point Pleasant history.
