Four-year varsity letterwinner at Wasatch High School; two-time Utah State High School Champion, winning individual state titles as a senior and junior; led his team to four straight state team titles; placed fourth at the senior national championships in 2008, earning All-America honors; took second at the state tournament as a sophomore and also scored runner-up honors at the junior national tournament; earned first-team all-state honors in football; joins former high school teammate Colton Salazar on the Boilermakers[apos] roster.

Ethan Porter Smith was born Oct. 2, 1989 in Albion, Mich.; is the son of Christopher and Lezlie Smith; has three brothers: Jordan, Casey and Corbin, and two sisters, Erica and Madison; enjoys music and the outdoors; majoring in building construction management.
