Before Purdue
· Four-year letterwinner for coaches, Kyle Messmore, Brad Grishop, John Davis and Scott Way at Westfield High School in suburban Indianapolis.
· Part of the freestyle relays that qualified for the IHSAA state meet all four years, advancing to the consolation final her freshman year
· Two-time team captain as an upperclassman
· Also played two years of varsity lacrosse as an underclassman and was part of the JV cheerleading team as a sophomore and junior.
· Distinguished honors graduate, AP scholar was enrolled in AP courses U.S. history, genetics, Spanish and psychology
