Academic All-Big Ten... Katz competed primarily in the backstroke events... season-best times in the 200 back (2:02.33, 5th) and 200 IM (2:04.62, 4th) ranked among the top five on the team in 2012-13... posted season-best times in the 100 back (56.56) and 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships... swam the leadoff backstroke leg on the 200 medley relay at the Big Ten Championships... continues to rank third and ninth in program history in the 100 (55.06) and 200 back (2:01.46), respectively... had strong showings in the 50 free (23.90) and 100 breast (1:06.71) at the Boiler-Make-It NCAA Last Chance meet... accounted for eight team points at the Purdue Invitational, placing fourth in the B final of the 100 back and sixth in the B final of the 200 IM... also won the C final of the 200 back and helped her 200 medley relay team win its heat at the Purdue Invite... won the 100 back in dual meet victories against Miami (Ohio), Florida Atlantic and Michigan State... part of five relay winners.
