Carmack competed in the breaststroke events along with the 200 IM... posted season-best times in all three events at the Purdue Invitational: 1:05.41 in the 100 breast, 2:22.51 in the 200 breast and 2:13.19 in the 200 IM... also raced in all three events at the Ohio State Winter Invite... accounted for 12 team points by placing third in the B finals of the 100 and 200 breast at the Purdue Invitational... had another strong showing in the 100 breast (1:05.99) at the Boiler-Make-It NCAA Last Chance meet... swam the lead off leg in the 200 free relay at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
2011-12
Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Feb. 14)... Carmack competed in the breaststroke events and 200 IM... won the 100 breast and placed second to Megan Roach in the 200 breast at the Ohio State Winter Invite to garner Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors... posted season-best time in the 200 breast (2:21.16) that weekend... season-best times in the 100 breast (1:05.73) and 200 IM (2:11.91) were at the Ohio State Invitational... finished the season strong with a time of 1:06.20 in the 100 breast at the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance meet, her third fastest showing of the year... competed in the 100 and 200 breast in the home dual meet wins against Northwestern and Michigan State.

Four-year Indiana state qualifier in the 100 breaststroke at Fishers High School... made the 100 breaststroke finals at the state meet as a sophomore... long course junior national cut qualifier as a junior... short course national cut qualifier as a sophomore... served as a team captain her senior year... helped lead FHS to conference and sectional titles... also played soccer as a freshman...
