2011-12: Tweardy competed in every meet in which the Purdue divers took the boards... placed third in the consolation final of the 3-meter at the Big Ten Championships... qualified for the Zone C Championships from all three boards... honored with the team's Workhorse Award... reached the finals and placed 15th in the 3-meter at Zones... posted 1-meter season-best score (289.05) at Indiana... season-best 3-meter score (310.55) was at Big Tens... posted her season-best score (249.60) from the platform at the Big Ten Quad... 1-meter score ranked as 10th best in program history.
Before Purdue: Four-year varsity letter-winner was a three-time Ohio state qualifier at Elyria Catholic High School in suburban Cleveland... finished second as senior, seventh as a junior and ninth as a sophomore at the state meet... broke the ECHS six-dive list record nine times during her prep career... also established a new 11-dive record her senior year... four-year perfect practice attendance award winner, becoming only the second person in team history to achieve the feat... helped lead ECHS to four straight North Coast League championship titles... also participated in track and field (pole vault), gymnastics and volleyball during her high school years... established a new school pole vault record as a senior and was a level 8 state meet qualifier in gymnastics...
