2015-16: Weigand competed primarily in the breaststroke events... posted a career-best time of 1:01.23 in the 100 breast en route to winning the C final of the event at the Big Ten Championships, accounting for nine team points... posted career-best times in the 200 breast (2:18.29) and 200 IM (2:04.60) at the Purdue Invitational... moved up to fifth place in program history in the 100 breast... accounted for 21 points at the Purdue Invite by finishing fourth in the A final of the 100 breast and third in the B final of the 200 breast... also finished third in the C final of the 200 IM at the Purdue Invite... won the 100 breast at the Indiana Intercollegiates... won her heat and finished second overall in the 100 breast in the triple dual with Notre Dame and Ohio State.
2014-15: Weigand competed primarily in the breaststroke events and the 200 individual medley... her career-best time while winning the C final of the 100 breast (1:01.34) at the Big Ten Championships ranked second fastest on the team in 2014-15 and fifth in program history... also posted season bests in the 200 breast (2:19.87) and 200 IM (2:05.83) at Big Tens... won the 100 breast in the dual meet victory vs. Michigan State for her first collegiate event win... finished ninth in the A final of the 100 breast at the Ohio State Invitational to account for nine team points and help Purdue win the meet... also qualified for the B final of the 200 breast and the C final of the 200 IM at Ohio State... was the runner-up in the100 breast as Purdue's top overall finisher at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
Before Purdue: Four-year All-American and first team all-conference swimmer... broke the state record in the 100 breast as a freshman... individual conference and sectional champion in the 100 breast... also helped Homestead High win conference and sectional titles all four years... four-year honor roll student... also played with the school orchestra and was a member of prom court.
