Haase, who was hired in September 2010, played four seasons at Purdue from 2003-07. The Culver, Ind., native graduated in May 2007 with a degree in classical studies and a minor in philosophy.
An outstanding student, Haase was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, an NGCA All-Scholar Team recipient and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation[apos]s oldest academic honor society.
In her first season on the Boilermaker coaching staff, Haase helped lead the Purdue women to runner-up finishes at both the 2011 Big Ten and NCAA Championship events. In 2012, Haase helped architect another top-10 finish at the NCAA Championship, as the Boilers took ninth place.
Haase[apos]s duties as an assistant coach include recruiting, instruction, organizing team practices, scheduling, team travel and assisting with golf camps.
Prior to her return to Purdue, Haase served as a staff professional at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville, Ala. She started her career as a golf professional at the Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee, Ill., in 2008.
Haase won the Indiana State Open the summer of her sophomore year at Purdue. She was the Indiana state high school golf champion in 2001, runner up in 2000 and earned all-state honors all four years at the Culver Academy. Haase spent the first year after graduation from Purdue as a faculty intern at her high school alma mater.
