Jaclyn Hart is in her first year as a student assistant coach with the Boilermakers after finishing her four-year playing career in the fall of 2010. A third team All-America selection, All-Mideast Region and unanimous All-Big Ten selection as a senior, Hart led Purdue to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight showing her final season. Purdue advanced to the NCAA Second Round her rookie year and to the Sweet 16 her sophomore campaign. In her four years in the Old Gold and Black, Hart was an all-around threat. She dished out 4,918 assists , second most in Purdue history, while also putting up 307 block assists, 10th most in Boilermaker lore. The Palos Hills, Ill., native, also registered 818 digs and 533 kills, while hitting at a .307 clip, ranking tied for fifth all-time. Hart belongs to the elite triple threat club, having recorded a 12-kill, 41-assist, 10 dig effort vs. UCF on Sept. 5, 2009. She posted 25 double-doubles in her career, including five in 2010. All told, Hart played in 132 matches, starting 122. In 2010, Hart dished out 10.68 assists per set, sixth most in the Big Ten, while also accounting for 1.75 digs, 1.38 kills and 0.76 blocks per set. She posted a team-leading .394 hitting percentage, good for the second-best season mark in program lore, including a .384 effort in conference play, second best among league players. In the Boilermakers' NCAA first round contest against Kentucky, Hart posted nine kills and 12 swings with no errors for a .750 hitting percentage, the best mark by a Purdue player in NCAA Tournament history. In the team's upset of No. 1 Florida in the Sweet 16, she dished out 39 assists and guided the team to a .327 hitting percentage, Purdue's best mark in NCAA Tournament play. Hart wrapped her Boilermaker career by earning the team's Carol Dewey Mental Attitude Award, which is bestowed on the individual voted by her teammates as the player who best ememplifies the positive image represented by Purdue Volleyball. The senior was an inspiration to teammates, coaches and fans nationwide as she played the last two months of her career while dealing with the illness and eventual passing of her father to cancer. Jaclyn is the daughter of Christine and the late William Hart. She has two sisters, Becky and Janelle. The Stagg High School alumna is majoring in youth, adult and family studies and will graduate in December.

2009: Baylor Classic all-tournament team...Active Ankle Challenge all-tournament team...saw action in all 31 matches at setter, playing in every set but one...became only the 14th Boilermaker in program history to post a triple double vs. UCF (9/5) with 41 assists, 10 digs, and 12 kills...dished out 1,245 assists on the season, with a season high 58 assists vs. Baylor (9/5)...posted 30 or more assists in all but 2 matches...averaged 10.12 assists per set...racked up 7 kills in only 10 attempts for a .700 game vs. Indiana (11/4)...had 10 or more digs in 7 matches...had 216 digs on the season, averaging 1.76 digs per set, with a season-high 17 digs vs. Kansas State (9/12/)...put up a season high 3 solo blocks vs. Northwestern (10/10)...posted 64 block assists on the season, averaging .62 a set.

2008: Started all 35 matches at setter ... recorded nine double-doubles with double-figure digs in each match to accompany her assist tallies ... ranked fifth in the Big Ten with 9.87 assists per set ... helped team to a hitting percentage of .250 or better 17 times, including an effort of .300 or better six times ... tallied a season-high 55 assists vs. Michigan (11/1) ... notched career-highs with 17 digs and 17 attempts vs. Utah (9/13) ... posted five or more blocks five times, including season-high seven twice ... led the team in blocks in three matches ... ranked ninth at Purdue for career assists with 2,338 ... named to Utah Classic all-tournament team.

2007: Played in 32 matches, starting 24 ... tallied 995 assists, averaging 8.96 per game, a tally which ranked ninth in the Big Ten ... in conference play, ranked 10th in assists per game with 8.25 ... recorded 144 digs for a 1.30 per game average ... notched 0.82 kills and 0.77 blocks per game ...led team in blocks four times ... hit .218 on the year, good for second on the team ... posted a career-high 72 assists vs. North Carolina ... tallied season-best 16 digs and seven blocks vs. Utah ... tallied five double-doubles with double-figure digs in four matches and double-figure kills once to go with her assist tallies ... notched lone double-digit kill effort at Ohio State with 10 in 15 attempts.
