Erin Brocka
Erin Brocka was hired in January 2020 as an assistant director of strength and conditioning before being promoted to associate director in July 2021.

Brocka serves as the head strength and conditioning coach for Purdue volleyball and the men’s and women’s diving programs. With duties extending beyond the sport programs, Brocka is also the yoga instructor for Purdue student-athletes and internship coordinator for the strength and conditioning department.

Brocka joined the Boilermakers after serving four years at University of California, Santa Barbara, where she was an assistant sport performance coach. During her time in UCSB, she oversaw the athletic performance for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s water polo, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s golf and softball. In addition to her efforts at USCB, Brocka was also certified yoga instructor in the community.

Prior to her time in Santa Barbara, Brocka worked at UCLA as an assistant sport performance coach, focused on women’s volleyball, women’s crew and the men’s and women’s golf programs. Her previous stops include University of Kentucky as a volunteer coach (2013) and TCU (2012), where she spent a summer as a football strength and conditioning intern.

Brocka is a CSCCa-SCCC certified strength coach, 200 hour yoga teacher training-certified, Baptiste Level I certified and TPI Levels 1 and 2 certified.

Brocka graduated from Northern Iowa, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team from 2007 to 2011. During her time with the Panthers, she was selected as a team captain, a two-time academic all-conference honoree and All-Defensive Team member. She is married to Jay Miller. They reside in West Lafayette with their dog, Piper Ann.
