2020-2021 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Competed primarily in the breaststroke events
• Registered his season-best time in the 200 breast (2:05.15) at the Big Ten Championships
• Posted his season best in the 100 breast (54.85), which ranked No. 3 on the team, at the intrasquad time trials in November
• Won his heat of the 100 breast at the triple duals vs. Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as Indiana and Ohio State
• Contributed to a 200 medley relay victory at the January intrasquad
2019-2020 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Competed primarily in the breaststroke events
• Posted season-best times in the 100 (54.78) and 200 breast (2:02.18) at the Purdue Invitational
• Won heat 3 and finished fourth overall in the 100 breast at the season-opening Indiana Intercollegiates
• Qualified for the A final of the 100 breast and won the D final of the 200 breast at the Purdue Invite
• Registered his season-best time in the 200 IM (1:54.04) at the Big Ten Championships
• 100 breast time at Big Tens was 55.19
• Ranked third on the team in 100 breast and fifth in the 200
HIGH SCHOOL
• Four-year varsity letterwinner for coach Steve Bowyer at West Ottawa High School on the West Coast of Michigan
• Also competed in track & field as a freshman and water polo as a sophomore
• Helped WOHS win MHSAA Division I state titles in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays as a senior
• West Ottawa also won the state title as a team in 2019
• Anchored his 200 medley relay team to a state title as a junior as well
