• Returned to the active roster at the semester break and helped Purdue set a team record in the 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships
• Competed primarily in the 200 and 500 freestyle
• Posted season-best times in the 200 (1:37.09) and 500 free (4:22.61) at Big Tens, scoring in the C final of both events to account for 7.5 team points
• Among the team in 2020-21, ranked first in the 500 and third in the 200
• Won his heat of the of the 500 free and finished fourth overall in the triple dual with Minnesota and Wisconsin in Madison, his first college meet since Big Tens in 2019

2019-20 / OLYMPIC WAIVER SEASON
• Opted to exercise an Olympic practice waiver and not compete in NCAA meets for Purdue
• Will have the option for returning for his junior season in 2020-21
• Renains Purdue's record holder in the 500 freestyle (4:18.43) and also continues to rank among the all-time leaderboard in the 200 (1:36.43, 8th), 1,000 (9:21.06, 15th) and 1650 free (15:25.64, 13th)
2018-19 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Competed primarily in the distance freestyle events as well as the 200
• Posted season-best times in the 200 (1:36.66) and 500 free (4:25.23) at the Big Ten Championships
• Season best in the mile (15:25.64) was at the Hawkeye Invitational
• Ranked second fastest on the team in all three of his primary events in 2018-19
• Moved into the Purdue’s all-time top 15 in the 1,000 (9:21.06, 15th) and 1,650 free (13th) with his career bests
• Swam the leadoff leg on Purdue’s 800 free relay team at Big Tens, helping the quartet post the seventh-fastest time in program history
• Accounted for 35.5 team points to help Purdue win the Hawkeye Invitational
• Finished among the top nine of all three of his events at Iowa, headlined by fifth overall in the mile
• At the Hawkeye Invite, was also an A finalist in the 200 free and won the B final of the 500 free
• Medaled twice at the Turkish Swimming Federation's Young Age and Open Swimming Championships (SCM) in December
• Won gold in the 800-meter free with a national record of 7:50.66 and took silver in the 1,500-meter free (15:16.80)
2017-18 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Competed primarily in the 200 and 500 freestyle
• Posted season-best times in the 100 (45.26), 200 (1:36.43) and 500 free (4:18.43) at the Big Ten Championships
• Established program and freshman records in the 500 free at Big Tens, qualifying for the A final to account for 22 team points
• Posted a Purdue season-best time in the 200 free, ranking sixth in program history, on the leadoff leg of the 800 free relay at Big Tens, helping the quartet post the fifth-fastest time in program history
• Also ranked among the top five on the team in the 400 IM (3:55.82, 4th) and 1000 free (9:22.20, 2nd)
• Victorious in the 200 free in dual meets vs. Iowa and Michigan State
• Won the 500 free at Hawaii
• Accounted for eight team points at the Purdue Invitational by qualifying for the B finals of the 500 free and 400 IM
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed for coach Fatih Yildirim at Saint Joseph High School in Istanbul
• Turkish Open age group champion in the 400 free and 400 IM as a senior
• European Junior Championships finalist in the 400 IM while establishing a Turkish age group (17-18) record in the event his junior year
• Set new 15-16 and 17-18 Turkish age group records in the 400 free
• Raced at the World Junior Championships as a sophomore
• Placed third in the 1500 free at the France Open his sophomore year
• Finished third in the 200 IM at the Balkan Junior Championships as a freshman
• Part of multiple team championships with his Fenerbahçe S.K. club
• Also part of an ENKA junior championship team in 2017
• Four-year appreciation award winner at Saint Joseph
