2017-18 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Competed primarily in the butterfly events
• Posted season-best times in the 100 (49.35, 5th) and 200 fly (1:48.66, 4th) at the First Chance meet vs. Indiana • Ranking among the top five on the team in 2017-18 in both butterfly events
• Won the C final of the 200 fly at the Purdue Invitational with a time of 1:49.97
• Also qualified for the D final of the 100 fly at the Purdue Invite
• Raced in the 500 free in dual meet wins vs. Hawaii and Michigan State (4:43.33)
• Raced in the 200 free in the dual meet at Miami (Ohio) and Indiana Intercollegiates (1:45.07)

• Four-year varsity letterwinner for coach Matt Rosa at Dana Hills High School in Orange County, California
• Eclipsed the school record in the 100 fly in each of his underclassman seasons
• Part of school records in the 200 and 400 free relay as a senior
• Helped lead Dana Hills to its first CIF state championship in school history as a senior
• Dana Hills was also the CIF Division I runner-up in 2015 and 2016
• Dana Hills won four consecutive South Coast Conference titles
