 Registered season bests in the 100 fly (52.77) and 100 breast (1:00.61) during the fall semester
 Won his heat of the 200 IM and finished fourth overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates
 Scored in the B final of the 400 IM to help Purdue win the Hawkeye Invitational
