• Broke Purdue's 100 back record twice at the Big Ten Championships, eclipsing it on the leadoff leg of the record-setting 400 medley relay Thursday (47.11) and again while winning the B final of the event Friday (46.97)
• Also established a new Purdue freshman record while becoming the first Boilermaker to post a sub-47 second time in the event
• Season bests in the 50 (20.56) and 100 free (45.25) were also at Big Tens
• Swam on both of Purdue's medley relay teams at Big Tens
• Accounted for 20 team points at Big Tens by winning the B final of the 100 back
• Won the 100 back in in dual meet victories vs. Miami (Ohio) and Michigan State

BEFORE PURDUE
• Competed for coaches Alexandre Seleznev and Domagoj Zajec as a youth standout in Croatia
• Set new club records in the 50 and 100 backstroke (LCM/SCM) at the 2016 European Aquatics Championships
• Also competed in the inaugural edition of the European Games (2015 in Baku, Azerbaijan), finishing eighth in the 50 back
• Selected as the best swimmer among his club at the 2014 European Junior Championships, finishing in ninth place in the 100 back
• Set new Croatian record for cadets again selected as the top swimmer for his club at the European Youth Olympic Festival, placing fifth in the 100 back
• Raced at the World Junior Championships in Dubai
