· Swam the leadoff leg on the record-setting 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships, the second time he helped Purdue establish a new record in the event

· Posted season-best times in the 200 (1:36.68) and 500 free (4:27.03) as well as the 200 fly (1:48.34) and 400 IM (3:49.70), the 200 free and 200 fly also ranking as career bests
· 200 free split on the leadoff leg of the 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships ranked sixth in program history
· Also continues to rank second in program history in the 400 IM (3:47.02)
· Had Purdue's season-best and a personal-best time in the 1000 free (9:22.03) while winning the event at the Big Ten Triple Duals
· Ranked third on the team with seven event victories total
· In 2015-16, also ranked among the top three on the team in the 200 (2nd), 500 (3rd) and 1650 free (15:37.08, 2nd) as well as the 200 fly (3rd) and 400 IM (3rd)
· Scored in three events at the Big Ten Championships to account for 20 team points, qualifying for the B final of the 400 IM and the C finals of the 200 fly and 500 free
· Scored in four events to account for 48 points (fifth on the team) to help the Boilermakers win the Purdue Invitational, highlighted by fourth-place overall finishes in the 400 IM and the mile
· Swept the 500 and 1000 free in the dual meet win vs. Iowa
· Won the 200 free at the FIU Sprint Invite
· Won his prelim heat of the 500 free at the Big Ten Championships

· Swam the anchor leg on the 800 free relay team (6:27.10) at Big Tens that eclipsed a program record which had stood since 2011
· Season-best times ranked among the top five on the team in 2014-15 in five different events: 100 free (45.43, 5th), 1000 free (9:25.38, 1st), 200 fly (1:50.58, 4th), 200 IM (1:48.10, 3rd) and 400 IM (3:49.12, 4th)
· Posted his season-best times in the 100 free and both IM events at the Big Ten Championships
· Won the C final of the 400 IM at Big Tens...
Season bests in the 500 free (4:31.14) and 200 fly (1:50.58) were at the Minnesota Grand Prix
· Had his season-best time in the 200 free (1:40.55) in his return to Minneapolis for the Big Ten Triple Duals
· Won the 1000 free in the dual meet victory at Notre Dame with his season-best time
· Won the 200 IM and finished third in the 100 free as Purdue's top finisher at the Indiana Intercollegiate's
· Swam on relay winners in the dual meet victory vs. Michigan State as well as the Indiana Intercollegiate's
· Continues to rank among the Purdue all-time Top 10 in the 200 (1:47.84, 9th) and 400 IM (3:47.02, 2nd).

· Brooks competed in 10 different individual events throughout the season... established a new Purdue freshman record (3:47.02) in the 400 IM at the Big Ten Championships while winning the B final of the event
· Honored as the team's most improved performer after the season
· Season-best time in the 200 IM (1:47.84) from Big Tens, while finishing fourth in the C final, also ranked second best on the team in 2013-14
· Ranks second (400) and eighth (200) in program history in the IM events... won his heats of the 400 IM and 1000 free at the Big Ten Triple Duals
· Won the 200 IM at the season-opening Indiana Intercollegiate's
· Competed in seven events at the Minnesota Gran Prix, racing in the 200 and 500 free, 200 and 400 IM, 200 fly, and 200 back
· Raced in five events at the Big Ten Triple duals, competing in the 100 and 1000 free, 100 and 200 fly, and 400 IM
· Posted season-best times in the 100 fly (50.89) at the Indiana Intercollegiate's and the 200 fly (1:50.24) at Big Tens.
Before Purdue:
· Brooks was a state qualifier for coaches John Nemeth and Jim Matson at Centerville High School in the Dayton area
· Ohio state champion in the 200 IM (1:50.09) and 400 free relay as a junior... also finished as the state runner-up in the 500 free (4:30.09)
· Team captain and two-time team MVP set new team records in the 200 IM and 500 free
· Place third at state in the 200 IM and helped his 400 free relay team take second as a sophomore
· Captain's choice award winner as a freshman

· French National Honors Society and also served as a French club officer.
