2015-16: Academic All-Big Ten... Stephens competed primarily in the freestyle sprints... posted season-best times in the 50 (20.96) and 100 free (46.22) at the Purdue First Chance meet... has his season-best time in the 200 free (1:42.35) at the Purdue Invitational... qualified for the B finals of both the 50 and 100 free at the Purdue Invite to account for seven team points... contributed to relay winners at the Indiana Intercollegaites and in the dual meet victory vs. Miami (Ohio)... won the 50 free and finished fourth in the 100 at the Purdue First Chance meet.

2014-15: Academic All-Big Ten... Stephens competed primarily in the freestyle sprints... season-best times in the 50 (20.51, 5th), 100 (44.94) and 200 (1:37.04) free all ranked among the top five on the team in 2014-15... posted all three season bests at the Big Ten Championships, where he qualified for the C final of the 200 free with the sixth-fastest time in program history... also swam the third leg on the 400 free relay at Big Tens, helping the quartet post the seventh-fastest time in program history... anchored the 200 medley relay team to victory at the Indiana Intercollegiates and was also part of a 400 free relay winner vs. Western Kentucky... qualified for the D final of the 50 and 100 free at the Minnesota Grand Prix, where he also raced in the 100 back. 2013-14: Academic All-Big Ten...
