· Hopkins competed primarily in the distance freestyle events
· Finished his career ranked among the Purdue all-time leaders in the 500 (4:24.15, 6th), 1000 (9:11.29, 3rd) and 1650 free (15:09.37, 2nd)
· Posted season-best times in the 200 (1:40.12) and 500 free (4:29.10) at the Big Ten Championships
· Ranked among the top five on the team in the 500 (4th), 1000 (9:30.83, 3rd) and 1650 free (15:38.90, 3rd), posting his season-best time in the 1000 in the dual meet at Indiana and the mile at the Purdue Invitational
· Accounted for 25 team points at the Purdue Invite by finishing fifth in the mile and eighth in the A final of the 500 free

· Now ranks sixth in program history in the 500 free while maintaining his Top 10 all-time rankings in the 1000 (9:11.29, 3rd) and 1650 free (15:09.37, 2nd)
· Posted his season-best times in the 200, 500 and 1650 free at the Big Ten Championships
· Finished fourth in the C final of the 500 free at Big Tens
· Won the 1000 free and was part of the victorious 800 free relay team in the dual meet win vs. Michigan State
· Won the 500 free and finished second in the 200 free in the dual meet victory at Miami (Ohio)
· Also victorious in the 500 free at Notre Dame and the 1000 free vs. Western Kentucky
· Purdue's top finisher in the 500 (7th in B final) and 1650 free (5th overall) while also swimming on the top 800 free relay team at the Minnesota Grand Prix

2013-14:

· Hopkins competed primarily in the distance freestyle events
· Season-best times in the mile (15:09.37, 1st), 500 (4:24.89, 3rd) and 200 (1:39.45, 4th) free from the Big Ten Championships ranked among the top five on the team in 2013-14
· Posted the second-fastest mile time in program history at Big Tens, finishing ninth overall to account for nine team points
· 1000 split (9:11.29) on the mile at Big Tens was good for third fastest in Purdue history
· Also moved into eighth place in program history in the 500 free
· Runner-up in the 1000 free (9:25.30) in the dual meet against No. 1-ranked Michigan
· Raced in the 100 fly in the season-opening Indiana Intercollegiates.
2012-13:

· Hopkins competed primarily in the distance freestyle events

· Scored at the Big Ten Championships by placing 16th in the mile

Before Purdue:
· Hopkins was a four-year Indiana state qualifier for coach Kyle Messmore at Westfield High School
· State champion in the 500 free as a junior
· Two-time team MVP also qualified for the championship final of the 200 and 500 free as a junior and sophomore
· Qualified for the state meet in the 100 and 200 free as a freshman while being named the team's most improved athlete
· WHS Athletic Honor Roll student
· High school teammate of fellow Boilermaker Peter Koss
· Qualified for the championship final of the senior state meet in the 500, 1000 and 1650 free
· 2011 Junior Nationals qualifier in the 400 and 800 freestyle.
