2011-12: Johnson competed in five different events, racing primarily in the 100 back and 100 fly... posted season-best times in the 50 free (21.28), 100 back (51.93) and 100 fly (49.81) at the Ohio State Winter Invite... finished as the runner-up in the C final of the 100 fly at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the anchor leg on the 200 free relay winner at the Big Ten Quad... won heat two of the 50 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates... finished as the runner-up to Brendan Joyce in the 100 fly in the dual meet win against Miami... also competed in the C final of the 200 back (1:55.27) at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the 100 back and 100 fly at the Big Ten Quad... raced in the 100 free at the Ohio State Invitational.
