2011-12: Starr competed in the 200 free and distance freestyle events... season-best times in the 500 (4:30.54), 1000 (9:30.27) and 1650 free (15:40.67) as well as the 200 back (1:52.71) all ranked as fifth fastest on the team in 2011-12... posted season-best times in the 500, mile and 200 back at the Ohio State Invitational and the 1000 in the Big Ten Network live TV dual at Indiana... posted four individual victories, winning the 500 free in the dual meet win against Michigan State and the Indiana Intercollegiates... won the 200 free in the dual meet victory versus Miami... captured the 1000 free at the Black and Gold Intrasquad... competed in the 200, 500 and 1650 free at the Big Ten Championships... accounted for 17 points at the Ohio State Invitational, placing seventh in the mile and fourth in the B final of the 500 free... also qualified for the C final of the 200 back at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the 100 free in the dual meet win against Northwestern and 200 IM at the Indiana Intercollegiates... career-best times in the 500 (4:24.50, 5th) and 1650 free (15:16.64, 4th) from 2011 continue to rank among fastest in Purdue history.
2010-11: Starr competed in seven different individual events but saw his most action in the 200 and 500 free... swam the second leg on the 800 free relay team at the Big Ten Championships that established a new program record... posted Purdue's season-best time in the 500 free (4:24.50), an NCAA provisional qualifying mark, at the Big Ten Championships... his season-best times in the 200 (1:37.89, 3rd), 1000 (9:16.55, 2nd) and 1650 free (15:16.64, 2nd), 200 back (1:51.82, 4th)and 200 fly (1:54.15, 5th) also ranked among the top five for the Boilers... his times in the 500 and 1,650 free both rank fourth all-time in Purdue history... his time in the 1000 free ranks fifth in program history... scored team points at the Big Ten Championships with a 10th-place finish in the mile... his season-best times in the 200 and 500 free were also record at Big Tens... won the 500 and 1000 free in the dual meet at Michigan, posting a season-best time in the 1000... helped the 800 free relay team win at the Big Ten Quad... was among the eight swimmers selected to travel to Dallas for the SMU Classic in January, highlighted by a third-place finish in the championship heat of the 500 free... won the 500 free, finished second in the mile and third in the 500 free at the Purdue Invitational.
