• Joyce competed primarily in the 100 and 200 butterfly
• His season-best times in the 100 (48.35, 1st) and 200 fly (1:48.95, 2nd), both from the Big Ten Championships, were among the best on the team
• Swam the butterfly leg on the 400 medley relay team at the Big Ten Championships, helping the quartet set a team season-best time that ranks second in program history

• Swam the butterfly leg on Purdue's top 200 (1:28.28) and 400 medley (3:13.98) relay teams, both units posting NCAA provisional qualifying times at the Big Ten Championships
• Both medley relay teams recorded the third-fastest times in program history
• Posted his season-best time, an NCAA provisional qualifying mark, by reaching the B final and scoring at the Big Ten Championships

• Also finished third in 100 butterfly after touching wall in 51.55 and tied for sixth in 50 freestyle with 22.10 clocking
