2011-12:

• Donnelly competed in five different events, racing most frequently in the distance freestyle events
• Season-best times in the 1000 (9:21.28, 3rd) and 1650 free (15:30.79, 2nd), both from the Big Ten Championships, each ranked among the top five on the team in 2011-12
• Posted season-best time in the 500 free (4:32.44) in the triple dual with Iowa and Ohio State in Iowa City
• Won the 1000 free in the dual meet victory against Miami
• Accounted for 13 team points with his sixth-place finish in the mile at the Ohio State invitational
• Cut almost 10 seconds off his mile time between the Ohio State Invitational in December and Big Ten Championships in February
• Swam the 200 fly in the dual meet win versus Northwestern and the Big Ten Quad
• Competed in the 400 IM in the dual meet victory against Michigan State
• His career best times in the 500 (4:23.84, 3rd), 1000 (9:11.93, 3rd) and 1650 free (15:14.40, 2nd) continue to rank among the top five in Purdue history

• Donnelly competed in primarily distance freestyle events
• Finished ninth of 66 competitors at the USA Swimming Open Water 10K event in Fort Lauderdale in June
• Finished 12th in the 1650 free with a season-best and NCAA provisional qualifying time at the Big Ten Championships
• His mile time at Big Tens ranked third on the team in 2010-11
• Posted a season-best time in the 1000 free (9:27.65) in the dual meet win at Northwestern
• That marked ranked fourth on the team in 2010-11
• Recorded season-best time in the 500 free (4:30.41) at the Big Ten Championships
• Competed in the 200 free at Big Tens and the Purdue Invitational
• Swam the 50 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates and 200 fly at Michigan State
• Still holds Purdue freshman records in the 500 (4:23.84), 1000 (9:11.93) and 1650 free (15:14.40), all established in 2010; all three times continue to rank among the program's all-time top five

2009-10:

• Broke Purdue freshman record in 500, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle events while recording team's fastest time in all three
• Moved to second on program's all-time list in 500 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle and third on 1,000 freestyle list
• Finished seventh in 1,650 at Big Ten Championships with record time of 15:14.40 that also was NCAA provisional qualifier (2/27)
• Time broke previous freshman record of 15:21.21 set in 2002
• 1,000 split of 9:11.93 also broke freshman record of 9:16.49 set in 2002
• Recorded 17th-place finish with 4:23.84 time in 500 freestyle at Big Ten Championships (2/25)
• Time broke freshman record of 4:25.67 he set during preliminary swim, which bettered previous record of 4:27.41 from 1998
• Won 500 freestyle at Indiana Intercollegiates in first collegiate swim (10/10) and vs. Michigan State (1/9)
• Won 200 butterfly vs. Miami (10/30)
• Took top honors in 1,000 freestyle (11/13) and swam second leg on victorious 400 freestyle relay (11/14) at Eastern Michigan
• Also won 1,000 freestyle at Indiana with then-season-best time of 9:21.23 (2/6)
• Finished second in event vs. Ball State (1/15) and third vs. Northwestern (11/7)
• Grabbed third in 1,650 freestyle vs. Notre Dame (11/6) and vs. Michigan State (1/8)

Before Purdue:

• Won 2009 USA Swimming 5K Open Water Grand Prix
• Touched wall in 8:05.63 for sixth-place finish in 800 freestyle at 2009 U.S. Open National Championships
• Also finished ninth in 1,500 freestyle and 17th in 400 freestyle
• Finished 15th in 1,500 freestyle at ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships
• Also placed 26th in 400 freestyle
• Four-year letterwinner
• Named Most Valuable Swimmer as junior and Most Outstanding Swimmer as senior
• Finished third in 500 freestyle and fourth in 200 freestyle at state championships as senior
• Placed fifth in 500 freestyle and seventh in 100 butterfly at state championships as junior
• Finished eighth in 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle at state championships as sophomore
