2011-12:

• Academic All-Big Ten
• Michael competed in six different events, racing most frequently 100 free and 100 fly
• His season-best times in the 100 fly (48.62, 2nd), 100 free (44.60, 4th), and 100 breast (58.38, 5th) ranked among the top five on the team in 2011-12
• Competed in the 50 and 100 free and 100 fly at the Big Ten Championships, qualifying for the C final of the 100 fly and posting season-best times in all three events
• Also swam the butterfly leg on Purdue's 200 medley relay team at Big Tens that posted the second-fastest time in program history
• Swam the fly leg on Purdue's two fastest 200 medley relay teams of the season
• Also part of Purdue's 400 free relay team at Big Tens
• Was among the eight Purdue swimmers that traveled to Dallas for the Classic @ SMU, competing in the 100 and 200 breast and 100 fly as well as the medley relays
• Won the 100 fly at the Indiana Intercollegiates
• Swam on relay winners at the Big Ten Quad and the dual meet victory against Notre Dame

• Michael competed in the freestyle sprints, 100 breast and 100 fly
• His season-best times in the 100 fly (49.63) and 100 breast (58.83) ranked among the top five for Purdue in 2010-11, posting both times at the Big Ten Championships
• Also competed in the 50 and 100 free at the Big Ten Championships, recording a season-best time in the 100 (45.56)
• Swam the fly leg on the victorious 400 medley relay team in the dual meet win at Notre Dame, a unit that posted the fourth-fastest time of the season for Purdue in that event
• Recorded season-best times in the 50 (20.81) and 200 free (1:39.97) at the Ohio State Last Chance meet
• Swam the third leg on the 400 free relay team in the dual meet with Indiana that posted the fifth-fastest time of the year for Purdue
• Competed in the 50 and 100 free, 100 breast and 100 fly at the Purdue Invitational, advancing to the B final of the 100 breast and 100 fly
• Recorded his season-best time in the breast in the dual meet at Michigan State

• Did not compete while sitting out as a transfer.
