2016-17 / AS A JUNIOR
• Carlson appeared in 11 events, compiling a stroke average of 73.69 strokes per round.
• Finished the year with three top-20 finishes, placing third at the season-opening Wolf Run Intercollegiate.
• Also finished T-14th at the Windon Memorial and T-17th at the Tavistock Invitational.
• After struggling in the opening round of the NCAA Regional Championships, recorded a pair of 73s to help Purdue to its third national championships in the last four years.
• Advanced out of U.S. Open sectional qualifying for the second straight year.
• Named to the Big Ten All-Academic team.

2015-16 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Advanced out of local qualifying to make sectional qualifying for the U.S. Open.
• Carlson had an outstanding sophomore campaign, being named to All-Big Ten second team and the GCAA All-Region Team after averaging 72.97 strokes per round.
• Named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week twice (Sept. 30, March 10). Earned first honor after winning first career individual title by posting a 6-under 207 at the Windon Memorial Classic.
• Earned second honor after placing second at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate with a 7-under par score of 209.
• Ranks tied for fourth on the single-season top-10 placings list with six. Had a five-tournament stretch where he placed 1st, T-3rd, 3rd, T-32nd and 2nd.
• Finished T-7th at the Boilermaker Invitational with a 1-under par 215.
• Ranked third on the team with 15 rounds of even-par or better and finished the season having a counting score in 16 straight rounds.
• Opened the year 30-over par in his first tournaments; finished just 19-over par in his final 11 tournaments, including 31-over par in the NCAA Regionals and Championships.
• Tied for the team lead in par-4 scoring (+39).
• Named to the Big Ten's All-Academic Team.

2014-15 / AS A FRESHMAN
• In July, finished third in the New England Amateur Championship, just two shots off the pace. Fired a second-round 65 during the event.
• Carlson had a strong freshman season, joining the counting team in the third event of the season and never relinquishing a spot.
• Recorded a 74.87 average in 31 competitive rounds.
•  Was second on the team in par-5 scoring (-18) and fourth in birdies (76).
• Finished ninth at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate at 1-over par 217 (78-73-66). His final round 66 was the fourth-best round by a freshman in school history.
• Recorded three rounds in the 60s, the second-best mark on the team and seven of his rounds were at or under par.
• Finished tied for 46th at the NCAA Lubbock Regional, but his final round score of 1-under par (70) put Purdue in a strong position to advance.
• Finished tied for 27th at the loaded Puerto Rico Classic, which included a second-round 69 (-3).
• His third-round scoring average was 73.30, a full 2.50 strokes better than his first-round average (75.80) and 2.60 strokes better than his second-round average (75.90).

HIGH SCHOOL
• Carlson lettered four times in golf, winning medalist honors at the SCC Championship twice.
• Helped his team to the D2 State Championship in 2013 while receiving the New Haven Register's MVP honor.
• Was ranked as high as the No. 21-ranked junior golfer in the U.S. by Golfweek and won a pair of Challenge Cup titles as a senior.
• Won the New England Junior Championship in 2012 and 2013 and finished T-6th in the New England Amateur Championship.
• Won the 2012 Killington Junior Golf Championship and finished second in the 2013 running of the event.
• Finished top 15 at the Rolex Tournament of Champions, one of the AJGA's premier events.
• Placed in the top five at the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf.
